Nestled in the stunning landscapes of northern Iceland, Raudaskrida is an unexpected gem that strikes a commendable balance between luxury and value. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an enjoyable stay. Our room was spacious and came with a fantastic view, which is essential for any landscape photographer like myself. The flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi added comfort after a day of exploring. We were particularly impressed with the variety of breakfast options available; it surpassed our expectations for a hotel of its caliber. The restaurant also offers a delightful dinner menu that we experienced on our first night. Despite arriving close to closing time, they graciously accommodated us. Although I didn't indulge in the hot tubs, I appreciated the option and the thoughtful provision of bathrobes for those who did. The owners proved to be genuinely kind and helpful, assisting with special requests, which further enhanced the experience. Given the level of service and the amenities provided, Raudaskrida presents an excellent value without compromising on comfort. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. A return visit is definitely on the cards for us.
